I’ve watched all of the podcasts so far, and they have all been interesting and entertaining. Which heightens my expectations for the final version of “Pigeon: Impossible”. Though I promise to be fair. Unlike many critics, I won’t be looking for a carton of milk in a hardware store.

Thanks Todd, glad you like them. I hope the final film meets your expectations!

Lucas, you look so much like your old man now, it’s not even funny.
Seriously, dude. It’s not funny. For God’s sake, man, shave.
Just kidding. This looks really great. Good luck with everything. It looks like you’re doing well.
Also, still an Orioles fan? Because Nick Markakis is my new hero. That is all.

Yeah, in Austin you have to have a beard to get into all the cool clubs. Orioles? Oh… you’re taking me back my friend… to my years of youthful ignorance… before I became a Cubs fan.

Actually it takes ~5-6 years Pixar to make one movie. They just have many projects going on at the same time. Or something like that

Your description of the “Production Triangle” is so dead on! I showed my boss the production triangle and she agrees. We target Fast and Cheap, so our quality is not very good. Now they understand.

Lucas,
Great job on Pigeon Impossible! Entertaining story and well executed. Plus, it connects with me on two other levels – I grew up near D.C. and I love rockets.
I want to express sincere thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences via your podcasts. I discovered your site last year, and find myself going back to your podcasts repeatedly. They are very informative and entertaining.
For years, I have had dreams of creating my own animated short. I have only a small amount of training in 3D modeling – and even less in animation. The most valuable lesson I’ve come away with from your podcasts – out of the many lessons you offer – is that I have a LOT more to learn about.
And, congratulations on your two page spread in 3DWorld magazine (Issue 124). I just now opened to page 18, and there it is.

Absolutely awesome, I take my hat of to you sir. I now have something to show my grandkids when they visit. I have to play it over and over again to them . I watch it with them for about 3 times ha!! I keep getting asked to get another animation I say I will have to wait until they become available. Once again congratulations on your fine work with pigeon impossible. Keep up the great work you are a very gifted person. (rarely seen nowadays)
